Part of the DESMOND Programme
A judging panel comprising of senior members of the DESMOND National Office will be convened to pick the winners and runners up for each category.
As well as the overall winners, there will also be special merit awards. Prizes will include a certificate and a trophy.
Entrants need to demonstrate the following criteria:
- Going above and beyond in delivering the DESMOND Programme
- Making a difference to the lives of people with Type 2 diabetes
- Delivering high-quality diabetes structured education
- Supporting the learner and their family and carers in developing attitudes, beliefs, knowledge and skills to self-manage diabetes
- A commitment to the DESMOND philosophy and principles
